7 Tips For a Rad Le Chic N Freak NYE

Well that was fast! It feels like just yesterday we had Doc Martin at the Siesta Anniversary, it was October, and there were pumpkins everywhere. Now people are talking about their 2019 plans and what they will change in the coming year.
But lets not get ahead of ourselves, this article is about New Years Eve and some things to keep in mind as we approach Le Chic N Freak!

1. GET THERE EARLY
With the addition of Da TRIPPY Disco and the VR booths you’ll want to make sure you get to experience these attractions first hand. Plus the beautiful Coasterra is located at the end of Harbor Island drive, which is one road in and one road out. We will be working diligently to get everyone in quickly, but expect the wait time to increase as it gets later. Music starts at 8 pm!

2. DRIVE SAFE PARTY SAFE
Please don’t drink and drive! We are offering all DD’s complimentary water and soda. Uber, Lyft, or carpooling is a great idea!

3. COME IN CHIC, BRING THE FREAK
It’s New Years eve, so don’t hold anything back! We will have a coat check at Coasterra for $5. There will be heaters all over the outside parts and every part of the venue is roofed.

4. STRIKE A POSE
We will have a GIF booth on site for you and your friends to make a custom GIF of you having fun on NYE! A great souvenir that can be cherished forever.

5. THE MUSIC, CHIC + FREAK
The CHIC stage is one of the most unique dance floors we have ever had the pleasure of activating. It is a barge surrounded by water, has an amazing view of the skyline, and has a limited capacity. Once capacity is hit on the barge there will be a one in and one out policy enacted.
We do anticipate the barge hitting capacity. There is a full bar and restrooms on the barge. We ask that you remain patient with our security staff if a line to the barge develops; safety is sexy.

The FREAK stage is a big hall with double sliding doors that open up into a huge covered patio. There will be plenty of satellite bars in every room and some lounge furniture to hang.
This year we have upgraded our sound system and visual effects, so prepare to be hit with some serious bass along with a few other surprises.

6. THE GOLDEN RULE
Treat the venue and the people around you, including staff, with respect and compassion. Everyone wants to have a great night, don’t be a jerk. Be proactive in encouraging positive vibes and if you witness any troubling activity going down, do not hesitate to alert a security guard or staff. We want a safe and fun zone for all.

7. NEW YEARS DAY BOAT PARTY
If you want to keep the party going on New Years Day, Music Is 4 Lovers is hosting a dope boat party on the San Diego Bay! Featuring Skream, OPTION4, and the first San Diego sunset of 2019!
